day 4

wow, what a trip so far! This has been so fun and a blessing to be here. Today was the first real work day, where we dug out the remains of a 13ft hill. It was a challenge, but we got pretty far. Some of our peeps got a little sick (Cody, Linnea), and some heat exhaustion (Evie). They should feel better after a little rest tonight. We got to eat lunch and supper with the pequenos. Also we helped with our first Kids Camp and got to do a lot of cool things with the kids including making bracelets, drawing, jenga, card games, and four square. We are all exhausted right now, and hoping our blisters will heal soon so we can be good to work again tomorrow. Our beds sound so great right now so we will have to keep in touch. Hope everything is well at home. We love and miss you all:) Hasta Luega!

Hello Everyone,

Well it only took me 4 days to figure out how to send a message here...:-) This blog is wonderful, allowing us to see the awesome work being done there. That hill looks like alot of hard work! Can't wait to see the "after" picture. Anna B, Lucas and Mia were over for supper on Monday night and Miss Mia and I picked raspberries. Only problem was she was eating them faster then I could pick them. It was pretty cute! She loves them, I think she thought they were candy! She kept saying "ummmm" after each berry went in her little mouth. Yes, Mike the raspberries turned red the day after you left, just as I suspected. So , I am freezing alot and sharing alot. Hi David! Anthony and I sure miss you and Dad. He is wishing he was there. Stephanie says Hi! and wishes she was there too, with you all. Hi to Fr.Greg and the girls. Evie, hope you are doing better. We are praying hard for all of you and the whole Team. I know you are accomplishing great things. Give the little children extra hugs!!!
God Bless you all and keep you well.
Love to everyone! Teresa (Mom)

Hey guys. Glad to see some pictures of "work". We continue to pray for the whole group, as you work physically, and as you minister to the kids. There are of us at Sonshine, and we're already missing the BCC crew. It just won't be the same without you. But you're obviously accomplishing more than us. To Aaron, keep working hard, and getting some sleep. We love you. To Megan, your family misses you, and Haley says she'll take your place in our water fight.
Love and prayers to all of you.
