So we had our first full day in Guatemala today...it started with breakfast made by our Guatemalan mother Sonito, it was delicioso! (for all of you who don't speak Spanish that means delicious ;-)) Then we were able to go to a Catholic mass in the town with the babies from the orphanage. Although we had a difficult time understanding what they were saying...we enjoyed our time watching how passionate the Guatemalans are with their religion also. After that we went to the High School and they made lunch for us (which wasn't half bad!) and they gave us a tour. They moved from their other location to this new place this year since the other location was becoming quite dangerous. We were all happy to see their new location which gives them way more room and quite the view! We were able to have our first meal with the orphans today. It was a good time to practice Spanish. A few of us are struggling but it will be no time until everyone has some Spanish skills to show off. Other than that we have just been playing a few pick up games of soccer and playing with the kids. It's been a lot of fun so far and we are looking forward to the rest of the week!

Great Updates! We are praying for you all everyday. We wait eagerly each evening for the update. So keep them coming if possible. We are not surprised about the soccer scores. You will need to watch Cody closely at this point because he will start to cheat....just kidding.
Love you all!!

It is so awesome to hear about what you guys are up to! I really wish I could have joined you on this trip, but I'm sure there is a reason why Im not there. Please continue to keep us updated! Great you arrived safe! Visiting the college/high school age is great. Have fun at the lake! So when do you start working...? :-) Praying for you often!
Hope you are feeling better today Cody, Linnea and Evie. We had a little rain here this morning, now it sunshiny and very humid. Thinking of you all and praying that God would continue to use you to serve others and that your spiritual eyes would be opened to see what HE is doing in and through you all!
